Belize is a beautiful and underrated destination, with a strong Caribbean identity despite being in Central America. It has a solid mix of exploration and relaxation, with ancient Mayan ruins being contrasted by the gorgeous islands of the Belize Barrier Reef. It’s very English-friendly and its diverse population is welcoming to tourists, though it can be a bit expensive at times.
