While Uruguay wasn’t my favorite destination, with Montevideo feeling a bit rough around the edges, its biggest strengths were its architecture and history. Colonia del Sacramento was a fascinating city, and both Colonia and Montevideo had great landscaping and gorgeous colonial buildings.
